Wesley Waters retired as a Sergeant from the North Carolina State Highway Patrol after 30 years of Law Enforcement Service. He served 11 years in the Motor Carrier Enforcement Section where he conducted hundreds of DOT Roadside Inspections and issued Size & Weight Citations.

Wesley is a Certified Instructor in several different subject matters and served at the Highway Patrol Training Academy where he helped develop and taught much of the training Motor Carrier Troopers and Weigh Station Operators receive today.

Wesley was a member of the Patrol Headquarters Staff where he designed, developed and supervised the Portable Scale Program used by the Highway Patrol. He also assisted in the development of enforcement policies and practices and was heavily involved in the review process of enforcement citations issued by Troopers and Weigh Station Operators.
